特殊收容措施：SCP-ZH-227應被收納於一個可以容納MP5衝鋒槍的標準槍盒內，並被放置於研究站點Site-ZH-32的ZH-227號收容隔間內，收容間外必須隨時有至少兩名收容人員看守，在一般情況下收容人員與項目的距離都不得少於五公尺以免受到項目的異常效應影響。
除了實驗需求外，任何人員都不得將SCP-ZH-227及其槍盒移出收容間，對項目進行的任何實驗都需經過至少兩名擁有三級或以上維安權限的人員許可才能進行。如果要將項目移至實驗場地時，必須由D級人員持著槍盒送至場地。任何除D級以外人員在任何情況下都不被允許與SCP-ZH-227產生物理接觸。
描述：SCP-ZH-227是一支由黑克勒&科赫公司生產的MP5A2衝鋒槍，其裝有模組化的光學瞄具和雙點式背帶，另外其槍身右側印有「警告，遊戲內所有的敵人皆為……1」的字樣，其餘部分與一般的MP5A2衝鋒槍基本相同。
項目在無人接觸的情況下會以一個充滿雜訊的年輕女聲不斷重複發出「更換彈匣以開始遊戲」的訊息。目前無法得知該聲音的具體來源，但可以確定的是該聲音是從槍枝內部發出的。
當人類個體聽到聲音時，該個體會被SCP-ZH-227吸引並且出現想要更換彈匣的衝動，距離項目越近這種影響就會越明顯。在個體更換彈匣後，槍枝會停止先前重複的話，接著發出「遊戲開始。擊中每關的所有敵人後換彈進入下個關卡。本遊戲總共有十關，祝你好運！2」的訊息。
接著，周圍10公尺會出現一個或數個對該個體抱有敵對的實體（下稱SCP-ZH-227-A）。目前不確定SCP-ZH-227-A具體是如何出現在個體身邊的，這些實體總是會從個體看不到的死角突然出現。
SCP-ZH-227-A的外觀並不固定，會因為關卡或SCP-ZH-227的使用者不同而有不同，在遊戲初期（1~3關）的SCP-ZH-227-A主要以非人的樣貌出現，而到了遊戲中期（4~7關）則是以使用者心中抱有敵意或是對立的外觀出現3，並且具有與其外觀相符的形象和特性。4
由於大部分進行實驗的D級人員沒有受過專業的軍事化訓練，因此目前的沒有任何人員通關遊戲的實驗記錄，所有受試者皆在第六或第七關時被SCP-ZH-227-A殺死或制伏。

受試者背景：D-ZH-512在被基金會招募前是一名幫派成員，並且有多個非法持有及使用槍枝前科。
實驗過程描述：第一關實驗現場出現三個具有敵意的非人實體。第二關和第三關出現的實體與第一關相同但是出現數量較多。第四關與第五關出現了外觀為台灣警察的SCP-ZH-227-A實體。在第六關現場出現7個霹靂小組外觀的實體，D-ZH-512最後被本關剩下的5個霹靂小組外觀的實體擊斃。
後續：本次實驗留下的SCP-ZH-227-A實體在訪談中都能夠清楚的說出自己的名字、所屬機構等身分資訊，但是後續調查卻沒有發現任何相關紀錄。所有的SCP-ZH-227-A實體在持續觀察六個月後沒有發現任何異常特性，所有實體現已接受了記憶刪除並[內容刪減]。
